In our complex world, self-confidence is extremely important in almost every aspect of our lives. Sadly, many struggle to find it to achieve success. Your level of self-confidence can show in many ways, from your behaviour to how you speak and your body language.
Self-efficacy and self-esteem are major components of self-confidence. Self-efficacy is when we have acquired a skill or expertise through our own effort that gives us a sense of mastery. Self-esteem, on the other hand, is a feeling that the people around us approve of us because we are seen to be competent.
Frankly, no one is born with self-confidence. It is an art of balance that is acquired over time. Entrants into the work environment must realise that self-confidence is important but it must be accompanied with a large dose of the right attitude and humility. What do we really want to achieve
What really matters
Can we keep ourselves grounded by focusing on basics
